Resistance bands every day?

Chris Asked: Resistance bands every day?

I weigh 180 lbs and gotta concussion a few weeks ago and was given the o.k. to do light workouts. So, since I can't weightlift, which I did religiously before, i have decided it would be a good idea to use resistance bands to maintain my muscle and strength the best i can. I don't do very hard i just do a light workout that consists of bicep curls, tricep extensions, shoulder presses, chest flyes, back rows, and butterfly rows. I do three sets of 15 reps each. This workout doesn't make me sore, so is it O.K. to do it every day?

This regime is ok to do, but you may still see alot of muscle loss in the coming weeks. You are better off doing body weight exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups and chin-ups. Combo that with a high protein diet and you will maintain what you have. Your body is really the only tool you need to maintain a healthy a lean look. you will not ad any mass this way, although if done enough you may carve some new definition. Also, drink a large glass of ice cold whole milk with dinner everynight. This is good for your bones, your muscles and your sleep. Good luck to you!!!
